In the wake of Wednesday’s Parkland high school shooting, several busy roads in the area remain shut down.
Authorities are asking that drivers please avoid these routes:
- Loxahatchee Road
- Will remain closed from Parkside Road to University Drive
- Coral Ridge Drive
- Will remain closed in both directions from the Sawgrass Expressway to Heron Bay Boulevard
- Coral Springs Drive
- Will remain closed from the Sawgrass Expressway to Trails End
Officials expect many of these roads to be closed for most of Thursday and possibly longer.
