MBPD: Operation Ted E. Bear In Full Effect

The Miami Beach Police Department is launching "Operation Ted E. Bear" to comfort children involved in serious incidents, accidents, and acts of violence.

When officers respond to calls of incidents involving children, may encounter children who are in a state of shock, pain, or are distraught. This is where "Operation Ted E. Bear" comes in.

The new initiative will allow MBPD officers to provide extra care and comfort to children by putting a cuddly teddy bear in their arms.

So, how can the community get involved with "Operation Ted E. Bear" and show their support?

MBPD is currently accepting  teddy bear donations.

Stuffed animals must be new with tags still attached, and be 10 to 15 inches in length. Donations can be brought to the Miami Beach Police Department Main Lobby located at 1100 Washington Avenue Miami Beach, FL 33139
