A Florida pastor is facing charges related to having a sex relationship with an underage parishioner he says was "possessed by a demon."
Gerardo Martinez, 52, was arrested Friday. He faces two felony charges of sexual battery.
Pasco County Sheriff's deputies said a 17-year-old girl joined Miracle Christian Church in New Port Richey last April. Martinez allegedly told the girl she had "multiple personalities" and that one of them was possessed.
Authorities said the pastor and teen engaged in multiple sexual acts from April to October in Martinez's vehicle, at the church and at the victim's home.
Deputies say Martinez denied sexual contact with the girl.
Martinez is free on $100,000 bail.
