Worry Grows As Govt. Is Set To Run Out Of Money (Again) Next Week

The government will run out of money again late next week and concerns about another government shutdown are already growing.

Republicans and Democrats are no closer to agreeing on long-term spending and another short-term extension may be pushed.

Senate Democrats ended a filibuster that prompted a three-day government shutdown last month, but only with assurances that there will be good-faith negotiations on immigration.

The key issue for Democrats involves the fate of Dreamers, young immigrants who were brought into the U.S. illegally as children.
