A Florida man who planned to have sex with two young children to celebrate his 35th birthday has been sentenced to more than 30 years in federal prison.
An Orlando federal judge sentenced Andrew Goldberg on Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to attempting to entice minors to engage in sexual activity and distributing child pornography.
According to court records, Goldberg admitted to creating Facebook groups for child pornography called “Glamorous Girls of All Ages” and “Family Funtime #2.” Each group had about 120 members.
A FBI sting operation caught Goldberg agreeing to meet a 9- and 11-year-old at a McDonalds. Agents also found more than 400 child porn images on his phone.
Goldberg also allegedly told the undercover agent he sexually molested a child in 2011 when he was 26 and the girl, his friend’s younger sister, was 7, according to court documents.
