Girl Abducted, Sexually Assaulted Walking Home From school In Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade Police are searching for a man who they say abducted and sexually assaulted a girl walking home from school Monday.

A gas station near Northeast 149th Street and 6th Avenue called police around 6:19 p.m. after the girl was able to escape from the man.

Police haven't said where the girl was abducted from or how old she is, only that she was walking home from a middle school. At some point, she was able to clothe herself and escape, and ran to the nearby gas station.

The girl was taken to a hospital and will see a psychologist, police said.

Police are searching for the suspect, but haven't given a description.
