Local DREAMers Await Future Ahead Of Trump's State Of The Union

Tuesday evening marks President Donald Trump's first delivery of the State of the Union address -- which is expected to touch on the fate of the DREAMers.

Representatives from both political parties – including Republican Carlos Curbelo and Democrat Debbie Wasserman-Schultz – will have those undocumented immigrants who were brought to America as children as guests for the President’s speech.

All sides are eager to here if Trump will continue to extend the DACA program.

An estimated 700,000 undocumented immigrants are a part of the program, with the Trump administration having placed a March deadline on reaching an agreement regarding immigration reform before ending the DACA program.
