An Experiment In Mosquito Control In Miami

Thousand of bacteria infected mosquitos are released in Miami. But these mosquitos don't bite. They're all male mosquitos infected with a bacteria common to several insects. The difference is that when these mosquitos mate with the females, their eggs won't hatch. This could help reduce the mosquito population, and thereby reduce the risk for the spread of ZIKA.
