A South Florida school is currently on lockdown as police search for a person involved in a nearby robbery.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools placed Coral Park Elementary, located off SW 97th Avenue and 12th Street, under lockdown. The school is located inside a perimeter set up nearby in the search for that suspect.
K-9 units were called to the scene to assist in the search.
No word has been given on whether Coral Park Senior High School, also located in the area, will be placed on lockdown as well.
