FL Men Accused Of Luring Robbery Victim Through Gay Dating App Grindr

A Florida man thought he was going on a date that was setup through an app, but instead was attacked and robbed at gunpoint, police say.

Police say 21-year-old Taborice Lee Foster and 19-year-old Royquez Darrell Deloach lured their target in using Grindr, a dating app for gay men.

When the victim arrived to a home address in Panama City where he believed he'd be meeting another single, gay man, police say Foster and Deloach attacked him, pointing a gun from behind while searching his pockets and stealing his wallet.

Foster and Deloach admitted to the robbery during an interview with Panama City police. Authorities recovered the gun used in the crime.

Both men face armed robbery charges, while Foster is also accused of unlawful use of a communication device.
