NBA legend and former Miami Heat Shaquille O'Neal seems to have taken on a new career interest: cruising.
Shaq has been appointed as CFO (Chief Fun Officer) of Carnival Cruise line, according to an announcement made Thursday night during TNT's "Inside the NBA." The 'position' is part of the cruise line's Choose Fun with Carnival campaign
"Mr O'Neal is perfect for the job. His unparalleled passion and unique business acumen are a tremendous asset," Carnival President Christine Duffy says in the video.
"In today’s world, it’s more important than ever to choose fun, especially when everyone is busy with work, family, and life in general,” O'Neal said in a release from the company.
"So, I’m honored to be appointed the Chief Fun Officer at Carnival – a company that lives and breathes fun."
