A female Hollywood icon is getting a star on the Walk of Fame nearly 40 years after her boyfriend got one.
On her 90th birthday (anniversary) Jan. 22nd, Minnie Mouse will finally get her place on the sidewalk. A star for Mickey Mouse was installed in 1978.
Aside from Mickey, the polka-dot bow wearing mouse will be joining creator Walt Disney and other beloved Disney icons like Donald Duck, Tinker Bell, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, and Kermit the Frog.
Minnie will receive the star in front of Disney's El Capitan Theatre, dedicated in the category of Motion Pictures. Disney CEO Bob Iger and pop star Katy Perry will be present for the unveiling.
