The Miami Beach Police Department will participate Friday in the annual bike ride for the Wounded Warriors Project.
The Wounded Warrior Project's Soldier Ride will take off at 9 a.m. on Ocean Drive and end over at Marlins Park.
The event marks a wonderful opportunity for many wounded veterans to come out to ride alongside current officers. Tomorrow's ride kicks off a four-day cycling opportunity that enables wounded service members and veterans to use cycling and camaraderie to overcome physical, mental, or emotional wounds.
MBPD will arrive at 8 a.m. for breakfast at Finnegan's Way, to fuel up before the main event!
