Watch: Tiny, Toothless Chihuahua Fearlessly Takes On Cyote

A tiny, toothless chihuahua proved he isn't afraid of anything after taking on a coyote in Pasco County early Thursday.

Owner T.J. Jones' surveillance camera shows his 18-year-old chihuahua, Paco, scaring off a coyote in his yard.

Jones estimates the coyote was five times Paco's size, but he says Paco didn't back down. "He was face to face that coyote. [It was] five times his size. [He] stood his ground, hid under the shed until I came out," said Jones.

An abandoned railroad sits behind Jones' house, making it a perfect place for a coyote to hide. It's likely the wild animal stopped by for dinner or dessert.

"[Cyotes are] out there and people have a lot of small dogs. He got lucky," Jones added. "I don't want to see something bad happen to someone else's dog."
