Florida Pastor Robbed At Gunpoint On Church Property

Crime in Miami is hitting close to home for members of a church.

Mount Sinai Baptist Church Pastor Johnny Barber was robbed at gunpoint Thursday afternoon in the church parking lot.

Miami Police say he was fixing a flag outside the church at 698 NW 47th Terrace, when two men approached him at gunpoint and demanded his keys, wallet, and phone.

Moments later, the men got away in the pastor’s black 2015 Range Rover.

Pastor Barber wasn't hurt during the incident, and police say the two men were detained shortly after.

Church members say they've complained to the city about crime in the area, especially around the parking lot.
