New figures show that insured losses from Hurricane Irma in Florida total more than $6.5 billion.
The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation says the number of Irma-related claims tops 860,000:
- Miami-Dade County leads with more than 114,000 claims
- Broward is next with nearly 72,000
- Orange County (68,306)
- Lee County (65,311)
- Collier County (63,644)
