Miami drivers might have reason to celebrate!
The city commission on Thursday voted to end the red light camera program, effective next year.
But while drivers might be happy with the decision, the police union is calling for the commission to reconsider.
The union says the cameras don't just catch speeders, but also criminals.
The decision by the commission could be a costly one for the city, as revenue from the cameras this year was expected to be more than $10 million.
