Warmer weather will finally make its way to the unusually chilly South Florida this weekend.
On Thursday morning, parts of Miami-Dade and Broward counties woke up to temperatures in the low 40s (50s in coastal areas). Those temps will just break the 70 degree mark for the daytime highs, below the average for this time of year.
By Friday, though, we will see a warmup with lows in the upper 50s and highs in the upper 70s.
Saturday, we continue the climb with high temps expected to hit the low 80s and staying that way through the start of next week (lows in the upper 60s and low 70s).
No rain is projected across the area.
