Suspected Tampa Serial Killer Pleads Not Guilty

The suspected Tampa serial killer will be entering a not guilty plea.

Howell Donaldson III, 24, was arraigned Tuesday for last month's four murders in Seminole Heights. He was not present for his arraignment on four first-degree murder charges. His attorneys waived his appearance and entered four pleas of not guilty.

He'll be back in Court January 25th.

Prosecutors have not decided if they'll seek the death penalty.

Florida court rules give prosecutors 45 days from the date of a defendant’s arraignment to decide whether to seek capital punishment. The decision rests with State Attorney Andrew Warren.

Donaldson remains in jail without bond.
