The season’s strongest cold front to date has brought cold temps to much of the United States, including South Florida!
Over the course of the next couple of days, we will be experiencing the coldest weather since January of 2016.
The cold weather has prompted Broward County officials to issue a cold weather emergency for Monday night into Tuesday. The emergency begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
As of Monday afternoon, highs were struggling to hit the upper 60s. Average highs are in the upper 70s and average lows are in the mid-60s.
Weather advisories and freeze warnings have been issued across the Southeast.
