UCF Replaces Theater Production Due To Author's Sexual Assault Allegations

The theater department at the University of Central Florida is replacing a play scheduled to run early next year because the writer is accused of sexual misconduct.

The "New York Times" recently reported that nine women have come forward with allegations against playwright Israel Horovitz, including sexual assault.

Theatre UCF is replacing Horovitz's "The Day Before Yesterday" with Rebecca Gilman's "Boy Gets Girl" for the February 22nd through March 4th run.

Horovitz had been scheduled to attend UCF's performance of his play.
