Fire Breaks Out For Second Time In One Week At Little Haiti Store

Investigators are trying to determine how a fire started at a Little Haiti convenience store -- for the second time in one week!

The fire started around 4 a.m. Tuesday at the 62nd St. Market Pepla at the corner of North Miami Avenue and 62nd Street. No one was hurt in the blaze, which started near the rear entrance by a door where the window had been broken out.

It was the second time crews responded to a fire at that business. Officials say the earlier blaze happened near the same location of the business where the latest one took place.

No injuries were reported in either fire.

Officials have not said whether the fires were intentionally set as their investigation continues.
