A Miami man was arrested after his attempt at buying a new cellphone exposed his child pornography stash.
Orlando Chang, 55, was arrested Monday on 11 counts of possession of child pornography.
Chang went to a Metro PCS store in Coral Gables to buy a new phone, according to an arrest report. While the employee was transferring data from Chang's old phone to his new one, the employee "saw what appeared to be pornographic images of an unknown young girl in sexual positions."
The employee called police and showed officers the pictures when they arrived.
When police confronted Chang about the pictures, he admitted that he knew about them and said they were sent to him by the child's mother.
Chang was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $77,000 bond.
