A Miami-Dade police sergeant was involved in a Wednesday morning crash in North Miami.
Authorities say the sergeant was stopped at a red light at Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 135th Street when his cruiser was rear-ended by another car.
The sergeant and a state trooper pulled the other driver out of her car before it caught fire. She was taken to a hospital, but her condition wasn't immediately known.
