The U.S. Army is investigating after a Florida paratrooper was found dead at Fort Bragg on Saturday.
Spc. Carlton Butler, a 22-year-old infantryman, was from North Miami Beach. Records show he joined the Army in June 2014.
Army did not release any details about what could have caused Butler's death.
Butler was assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division.
The Fayetteville Observer reported that Butler was the second soldier to die at Fort Bragg in less than a week.
The newspaper reported that Pfc. Nicholas Martinez was also found dead in his barracks room on Thursday.
