Police have arrested a woman in connection to the body of man found in a burning car at a North Lauderdale park earlier this month.
Rougiena Derviere, 18, was arrested Saturday. She now faces a charge of first-degree murder.
Darren Butler's burning corpse was found last Tuesday after firefighters extinguished the flames of the burning car at Bicentennial Park.
An ax was found near the car and deputies quickly ruled the death a homicide.
Deputies haven't said what led them to Derviere or what her relationship was to the victim.
The investigation into Butler's death continues.
