A suspect in a violent armed robbery of a woman in Miami Beach is behind bars. 23 year old Nigel Gainey is accused of robbing the woman and hitting her in the back of the head several times with a pistol. Miami Beach Police say it happened on the sidewalk outside Sultan Restaurant in the 1900 block of Collins Avenue. After the alleged suspect grabs the purse, he runs out and jumps into an SUV that appeared to be waiting for him.Officers say she was crying and bleeding heavily. She was taken to a hospital.Cops say he and others were in a silver Nissan Rogue, possibly a 2016 model. For more, click here.
