According to a new study, Florida doesn't make the cut when it comes to best places to raise your kid!
In the new "Best Cities to Raise Kids in the U.S." list, not a single Florida city made the Top 100.
Alarms.org used certain factors to determine their rankings:
- Graduation rates
- Crime rates
- Health insurance coverage
- Median income to determine their rankings
According to the organization, the rankings show the Top 100 cities that "have the right blend of qualities that allow children to fulfill their potential."
California apparently can do no wrong -- with 47 cities on the list -- six on the Top 10 alone! In addition, six Texas cities are among the top 100.
While you won't find Florida anywhere near the top 10 (or 11-100 either) here are the apparent best places to raise a kid:
