FEMA has provided more than $900 million dollars to residents in Florida affected by Hurricane Irma.
The agency says nearly $411 million of that was provided to residents right here in South Florida.
The deadline to apply for assistance is November 24th. Residents who have not yet applied are encouraged to call them or visit a Disaster Recovery Center in their respective county.

The deadline to register with FEMA is November 24. Call 1-800-621-3362 to register. People who have already applied can call FEMA back to ask questions, update their recovery needs, and request additional help if needed.

Disaster Recovery Centers are still open in South Florida. Everyone is welcome to visit any center that is convenient to them, regardless of where they live.
