For The First Time In A While, Gas Prices Are Creeping Back Up

For the first time in more than six weeks, Florida drivers are starting to see gas prices creeping up.

AAA says that's the result of oil and wholesale gas prices making solid gains.

The statewide average for a gallon of regular has been frozen since the first of the month at $2.40.

While most areas saw gains of just a couple cents, it's a bit of a spike as you head north.

Sebastian-Vero Beach saw an 8-cent gain... 7 cents in Pensacola, and 5 cents in Crestview-Fort Walton Beach.

The average gas price in South Florida stands at $2.52 for a gallon of regular.
