A Miami-Dade man is in the hospital after police say he was shot by his mother Wednesday.
The shooting happened at a home in the 1300 block of Northwest 98th Terrace, Miami-Dade Police officials said.
An adult male victim was shot several times and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where his condition was unknown.
Police said the man was shot by his mother, but it's unknown if she was in custody or would be charged.
No other information was immediately known.
