Tracking Trump's Approval Rating For Oct. 27

Happy Friday, ya'll. With another week in the books, it's time to take a look at where President Trump stands this week in the opinion of the public.  Here, we'll track the high point, low point and current ratings that the American people have regarding upon Donald Trump:   

  • Trump's lowest ratings: 

    • 37 percent approve

    • 59 percent disapprove

    • Total: -22 percent (8/4/17)     

  • Trump highest approval ratings: were an average 

    • 45 percent approve

    • 43 percent disapprove 

    • Total: +2 percent (1/27/17)  

  • Trump's current ratings: 

    • 39 percent approve 

    • 57 percent disapprove 

    • Total: -18 percent    

Trump's rating dropped one point this week. 

But what's more significant is that the the more likely someone is to vote, the higher Trump's overall approval rating is.   

  • With adult only samples his rating over the past week averaged: 36 percent   

  • Registered voters only: 40 percent  

  • Likely voters: 43 percent

Last week the gap was four points. This week is a wide seven point spread. 

We're in an important window of time with the budget deal now passed in Congress and the high potential for tax reform behind it.  

The range was Rasmussen 12 percent to Reuters -25 percent.
