O.J. Simpson's future plans reportedly still include having a home and residing in southwest Florida.
A close friend of Simpson's told the Naples Daily News that they are looking to buy a home in the Golden Gate Estates area of Naples.
But Tom Scotto, an East Naples resident, said it will be a few months before that happens.
Simpson was released earlier this month after serving nine years in a Nevada prison and was seen this week applying for a driver's license in that state.
During the weekend of the 2007 robbery, Simpson was in Las Vegas to attend the wedding of Scotto, who did not accompany the former athlete and five accomplices as they confronted two sports memorabilia dealers in a casino hotel room.
