Help MDPD Collect Food For Those In Need

Miami-Dade police need your help in collecting food and nonperishable items for people impacted by Hurricane Irma. 

After Irma swept through South Florida on Sept. 10, around 400 migrant workers were unable to return to work due to damaged farm fields.

This Saturday, MDPD and Three Virtues Organization will be collecting the last of the donations and distributing the collected items to those migrant workers and their families. 

Items most needed include:

  • Beans
  • Baby food
  • Rice
  • Nonperishable food
  • Baby formula
  • Baby wipes
  • Toilet paper
  • Personal hygiene/feminine products 
  • Corn flour
  • Diapers

Donations are being accepted between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at any of the folllowing locations:
