Want To Star In Matthew McConaughey's New "Beach Bum" Movie?

Alright, alright, alright... have you heard the big news?

An open casting call is being held for anyone who would like to star alongside Matthew McConaughey in his new movie "The Beach Bum." 

According to a statement, ‘The Beach Bum’ follows the hilarious misadventures of Moondog, a rebellious and lovable rogue who lives life by his own rules. Snoop Dogg will co-star in the flick. 

Auditions are open for people of all ages and ethnicities -- for the movie that will begin filming in Miami next month. Shooting is scheduled for four weeks in Miami and two in Key West.

Producers are looking for a wide range of extra actors, and even a few featured roles, including:

  • Upscale Palm Beach types and hipsters
  • Beach bum and tourist types
  • All types of people for city bus extras
  • Courtroom extras to portray a court reporter, lawyers and a bailiff
  • Customers going in and out of a gas station 
  • Scrawny motel clerk and motel guests checking in
  • Hospital extras to play doctors, nurses, paramedics and patients
  • Children of all ages

The pay is $119 per 12 hours or $68 per eight hours, with the possibility for overtime.
