Two of South Florida's top high school football programs are getting some national attention Thursday evening.
The reigning 6A state champion Miami Carol City Chiefs will take on the currently-ranked-fourth Miami Northwestern Bulls.
These two Miami teams split a pair of games last season, with a total differential of only 12 points between the two games. Northwestern looks to redeem a second round playoff loss to Carol City last year.
The showdown from Miami-Dade College's Traz Powell Stadium located at 11380 NW 27th Ave begins at 8 p.m.
It will be the High School Football Showcase on ESPN2.
