A 54-year-old Florida man was arrested after a teenage girl gave birth to his child last month.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said Wimauma resident Felipe Diaz forced the victim, who was 13-years-old at the time, to have sexual intercourse.
The exact date of the incident in 2016 was unknown.
As a result of the sexual battery, the victim became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl in September.
DNA testing, conducted by Florida Department of Law Enforcement, proved that Felipe Diaz is the biological father of the child.
Diaz was Wednesday and charged with sexual battery and child abuse resulting in impregnation.
