A high school student in Southwest Florida is accused of bringing a gun to school.
It happened Monday at South Fort Myers High School, where the 16-year-old student was arrested.
Principal Ed Matthews emailed parents to let them know a gun was found when they searched the student. Matthews said at no time were other students in danger.
Because the student is a juvenile, his or her name has not been released.
