Video: Police Release Officer Body Cam Footage From Vegas Shooting

Authorities released body camera video at a press conference Tuesday night, following the mass shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas.

In the video, the sheer chaos is evident as officers try to determine where, exactly, the gunfire is coming from, and the location of the gunman.

Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old resident of Nevada, opened fire on the concert from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, killing 58 people and injuring 530 others.

The gunfire sent more than 22,000 concertgoers srambling in the streets across from Mandalay Bay. Some hid, some ran and others sprang into action, aiding the injured and helping people to safety.

As the nation mourns the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history, authorities are working to piece together information about the suspected shooter, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot, for clues on what may have sparked the rampage.

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
