Miami Police are currently investigating a suspicious package found near the Richard Gerstein Justice Building.
Officers responded just after 8 a.m. Tuesday, to the scene near NW 12th Avenue and NW 12th Street.
Officials have not released any additional details about the item in question.
NW 12th Avenue remains closed between 11th and 14th Streets as the exit ramp from the Dolphin Expressway has also been shut down while police continue to investigate.
