Jose continues to barely maintain hurricane strength as it moves slowly in the Atlantic between Bermuda and the Bahamas.
As of an 11 a.m. advisory by the National Hurricane Center, Jose was located less than 500 miles south of Bermuda, moving southeast at 7 mph.
Maximum sustained winds remain at 75 mph.
The forecast track has Jose making a looping motion over the next 48 hours, followed by a turn toward the north.
The hurricane is not expected to threaten any land areas for at least the next several days.
