The state of Florida is still in need of volunteer nurses and aides willing to donate their time at special needs shelters.
Gov. Rick Scott, in a series of tweets Saturday, mentioned that the state is looking for the help of 1,000 volunteer nurses.
Nurses who are able to volunteer their time and services are asked to email BPRCHDPreparedness@FLHealth.gov.
Nurses can also email HelpFL@FLhealth.gov.
