Miami-Dade, Broward County Announce Schools Closed Monday

Miami-Dade and Broward Counties have announced that all schools will be closed on Monday in anticipation of Hurricane Irma. 

In a tweet, Miami-Dade public schools (MDPS) says the closure is necessary in order to take the proper steps to ensure safety both before and after the storm.

Broward County Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie has also announced that BCPS will be closed Monday and will remain closed until further notice.
