Three Arrested In Miami Beach Hold-Up Robbery

Three people have been arrested following a Tuesday night robbery on South Beach, authorities say.

According to an arrest report, a couple celebrating their anniversary was sitting by the water when they were approached by three men.

Miami Beach police said one suspect asked the victims where Wet Willie's was located. When they said they didn't know, another suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded the victims' property.

Police said one suspect held the victims at gunpoint while two others gathered the victims' belongings.

The armed robber told the victims not to move or he would "blow them," authorities said.

Witnesses tipped police after he saw the men walking along Ocean Drive with a gun a short time later.

The suspects were identified as Richard Pulido, 18, Gabriel Mendez, 19, and Lazaro Gonzalez,  22.

The three men were taken into custody along 11th Street and Ocean Drive, according to police. Each man faces charges of armed robbery, improper exhibition of a firearm and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.

Authorities say that the victims' belongings -- including a backpack, wallet, Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge and an Invicta watch -- were returned to the rightful owners.
