The Dow Jones Industrial Average marks a milestone on Wednesday, closing above 22,000 for the first time ever.
The Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all opened higher, faded as the day continued and rallied just before closing. Spurred by a surge in Apple, the Dow breached the milestone early this morning and notched yet another record close by gaining 52 points to finish at 22-015. The S&P gained a point to end at 24-77 and the Nasdaq was flat at 63-63.
