A new survey sheds light on what it takes to be considered wealthy. The first Modern Wealth Index evaluates Americans when it comes to saving and investing. Jenny Rothstein of Charles Schwab says that, for people in South Florida, the figure is $2.1 million in total assets minus liabilities. Rothstein says that South Floridians believe the local economy is better than it is nationally. But they also believe the cost of living versus wages and salaries will make it tougher to reach their goals. For more, click here.
