Sunrise Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who hit a woman riding a bicycle and fled the scene in Sunrise on July 15.
Police say Michel Holguin was riding her bike home from work at about midnight when a car struck her from behind on Sunrise Boulevard, near Sawgrass Mills Mall.
Holguin was dragged nearly 100 yards down the road.
Upon seeing Holguin on the side of the road, pedestrians called 911, and she was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Holguin remains in critical condition at this time, police say.
Based on the damage to the bicycle; the vehicle should have damage to the front bumper area. Police believe the make of the vehicle is possibly a 2013-2014 blue or gray Nissan Sentra.
