Florida June Employment Figures Out Friday

Florida’s June jobs numbers will be released Friday morning and experts predict the results to be much of the same.

Dr. Sean Snaith, Economist at the University of Central Florida, predicts the momentum in the labor market will continue.

"The pace at which Florida has been outgrowing the U.S. economy has fell the past six or eight months.  We're still exceeding the national job creation rate, but not as much as we were a year, year and a half ago," said Dr. Snaith.

All in all, he doesn't see a break in the trend that's been in place in our state.

"Which is a stronger labor market recovery than what we've seen in the national economy," said Dr. Snaith.
