The Miami Marlins have announced that they have traded pitcher David Phelps to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for 4 minor league players.
The Marlins will receive pitchers Pablo Lopez, Brandon Miller, and Lucas Schiraldi along with outfielder Brayan Hernandez.
Hernandez is considered to be the biggest prospect of the latest Marlins trade. The 19-year-old is currently playing in the Low-A minor leagues.
In 44 appearances this season, Phelps has a 3.45 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 47 innings.
