Prosecutors believe a 10-year-old boy has become Florida's littlest victim of the opioid crisis.
Investigators think he may have been exposed to fentanyl at the pool or on his walk home in Miami's Overtown.
Florida Poison Control's Dr. Jeffrey Bernstein says it's not easy to accidentally expose yourself to fentanyl.
"It's not the kind of thing that if someone spilled something in a swimming pool everyone in the pool is going to die because it's going to get absorbed," said Dr. Bernstein.
He says fentanyl is very powerful, 100 times more potent than morphine and is in our nation's heroin supply.
